Bloggishness

We need to talk.  Did you realize that Maidservants of Christ has been up for two and half months?  We have forty six posts up, and we hope they  have been as much of a blessing for you to read as it has been for us to write.  I know I speak for all three of us when I say this experience has been life changing.  We certainly have you, our readers, to thank for making this possible.  Without you, we would not have the motivation to write.  So first of all, we want to say that we love you guys!  Most of you are ladies, some of you are not, but either way, we are grateful for you all! 


In addition to the love, we also have a few questions to answer and a few to ask you.  First of all, someone has asked us if it is okay to print our blog posts and comments for a ladies class.  We would be honored for anyone to print our material for classroom use or church bulletins.  All we ask is that you let the readers know where it came from.  Please provide a link back to the blog so that people can read the blog for themselves; we'd love to build our audience in that way!  Although it probably goes without saying, please do not print our blog posts for any commercial purposes.  We would also appreciate it if you would not re-post our material on any other websites without first speaking with us.

If you like our blog and would like to share it with others, there are lots of good ways to do it, and we would love for you to help us get the word out.  If you use facebook, share your favorite posts to your facebook wall (or Timeline, or whatever it's called right now).  You can also pin us on Pinterest if you are into that sort of thing.  Helene is on Pinterest now, so you can follow her there.  If reading the blog is as tech savvy as you get, that's cool too!  You can still tell your friends at church, school, or work about us.  Just give them the URL, www.maidservantsofchrist.com, and encourage them to read our posts too.   

While you are at it, tell them we love comments!  Comments excite us!  We judge our worth as women by the comments you leave!  Not really on that last part.  Seriously, though, we do love reading what you have to say.  We don't have a machine or a third party to moderate for us, so if it takes awhile to see your comment, it probably because I am mopping the floor, fixing lunch, or otherwise engaged.  I do try to check several times a day, though, so it shouldn't be too long before you see it.  Your email address will NOT be made public.  In fact, if you don't want to leave an email address, it is optional.  You can even write "anonymous" for your name.  A great big thank you goes out to those people who have already commented.  You made our day!  If you've been lurking, reading and enjoying our posts but staying quiet, that's okay too.  But we challenge you to leave us a thought provoking comment once  in a while.
